Portraits

I think that as long as I've been drawing and painting I've always been drawing people. There is something special about how one look can say so much... In the beginning, I drew and painted a lot of people, preferably from all different cultures and also with a lot of colors. I would always look for pictures on Pinterest of beautiful people that I would then paint.

I think this has changed a bit in the meantime, I still paint and draw portraits of people. But now more from the people who are close to me. Or from people I meet in different places... Because for me there is a lot more meaning then, in a way your work is closer to you than if you paint portraits from the internet. My dream, therefore, is to travel around in the future and to portray people I meet.

In addition, I also try to look at the works of other artists and sometimes paint them over to feel how they build up their work or choose their colors... So that I can develop more and more as the person I am and as an artist.
